Holla! This is my last P-day in the MTC!!!!! We're leaving the MTC on Monday at 8:00am. We're definitely the lucky ones because we get to sleep until 6:30 like usual, eat breakfast at the normal time, and possibly have a little time to do last minute packing or just relax. No getting up at 4 am for me. :) Charlie's not so lucky...she has to leave at 6:00. The elders in our district are leaving at 5:00 in the morning on Monday. It has been really weird this week to be doing everything for the last time. We had our last TRC yesterday, and we taught Pablo for the last time on Tuesday. Then tomorrow we'll be teaching a new investigator for the first and last time. It's kind of strange to think that in less than a week I'll be teaching people who really don't know anything about the gospel or our church or how much God loves them. I can't wait to share this with others!! Hopefully they'll be able to understand at least some of my Spanish... Any...

Buenos Dias, Next week is our last full week in the MTC!!!!! Then it's off to California to realize that we really don't actually know any Spanish or anything about how to share the gospel, but we have a fire in our hearts that others will be able to see through our eyes. Then we can really start to set the world on fire! I don't have much time this week, so I'm just going to include a few scattered stories about what's happened lately. (Some of them might be from past weeks that I just haven't had a chance to write about yet. 3/9 Elder Bennett was teasing one of the Sisters in our district, I really can't remember what about, but he came up with the scripture James 3:7-8. Look it up if you want to know exactly what it says, but it says something about how the tounge cannot be tamed. Then Elder Bennett said and I quote, " My tounge's not tamed! It's like a wild beast in my mouth!" It was absolutely hillarious and we all got a g...
Hola!   This has overall been a pretty good week in the MTC. Eating has gotten better here. I no longer feel like I have to bolt my food at every meal. Those first couple of weeks I was constantly overstuffed and sick to my stomach or starving. (Hermana Clifton thought I was crazy. :) Now, I think I've adjusted to quickly eating three larger meals a day with no snacks in between instead of my usual three smaller meals eaten over a longer period of time and with snacks in between. I feel like I've also been able to be more diligent in my studies this week. I've started recognizing some of the benefits of exact obedience. One small example is sleep. I've been working really hard to be in bed by 10:30 or earlier every night and to get up (or at least role over onto my knees and pray) at exactly 6:30. Getting up is always hard for me, but as I've been obedient to the bed times and get up times I've found myself able to be alert and not really tired...
