--> Hola Querida Familia y Amigos! This has been a truly amazing week! Tuesday was transfers, and transfer meeting was a little weird. We thought I would be being transferred to bike (probably still here in Sylmar) and Hna Whetten would be staying here in Sylmar. However, as the meeting progressed we found out that Hna Whetten was being transferred out of the area all together! I did get transferred to Sylmar Bike area, so that was what we expected. Also... other exciting news... I'M TRAINING!!!! I didn't find out until after emails last Monday so sorry for all those who didn't find out until now. It's absolutely crazy that I'm training after 12 weeks and opening a new area and on bike, but I know that it's all in God's hands and he knows better than I do. My new companion Hermana Allen is absolutely phenomenal! Her Spanish is great, and she has absolutely no fear of talking to people whether she understands them or not. We have done ...

I'M BEING TRANSFERED!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok ... now that that's out there... Hola Familia y Amigos! I'm being TRANSFERED! I really just can't get over it. It doesn't feel like I've been here for that long, but I guess it really is the end of my training period. I know that I'm going to a bike area, but I won't know anything more until tomorrow at the transfer meeting. Don't worry about any letters that have already been sent; Hna Whetten will forward them to me because she gets to stay in Sylmar. However, please send any letters from now on to the mission office until I can send you my new address. Hermana Marin Hardy California San Fernando Mission 23504 Lyons Ave Ste 107 Santa Clarita, CA 91321  I'm being TRANSFERED!!! Aaahh! Somehow I have to learn to ride a bike in a skirt without dying (not sure if I spelled that right...). I tried it once on Elder Linford's bike (3 weeks ago), and didn't die, but ...

On Monday we were able to have a really good experience with one of our investigators where we read part of the Introduction to the Book of Mormon, and she prayed to know if it was true. It was a sweet experience, and even though it looks like she's not ready to change her church right now, I know that in the future she'll be able to look back and remember this experience. On Tuesday we had a wonderful member present lesson with Ana, but I'm sure Hna Whetten will tell you more about that. We were also able to meet with Obispo Cortez as a district and ask how we could help the ward in their missionary efforts. It was a wonderful interview, and we actually were given two referals from members who were trying to contact less actives and ended up finding people who weren't members but were potentially interested. We L...
