Well, actually it was "Bueno," but close enough. Hermana Clifton and I invited our new investigator Pablo to be baptized during our first lesson and he said that if he could know that it was true then he would be baptized. We still have a lot of work to do figuring out how to help him know for himself, but it was a big step. We were also able to help Edith pray during our last meeting with her. That was a huge step because she has been so reticient about praying. Prayer will definitely help her come closer to Christ and to know how much He and Heavenly Father love her. It will also help her recognize the truth of what we are teaching her and see how the gospel can bless her life as she begins to believe and follow it. Our goal for this week is to get both of them to commit to go to church. Spanish is coming pretty well, but I've hit kind of a roadblock. Hey Everybody!   Today is P-Day so I figured it would be good to send out an email and let people know how I'm doing. Mom and Dad have the inside scoop because I've already been able to send them a couple of handwritten letters. Honestly the best part about P-Day is that we get to go to the temple. Our zone does this really cool thing where we get up at 5 on P-Day and do our laundry before we go to the temple, then we all eat breakfast at the temple cafeteria before our session. I love the temple, and it was nice to be able to go again since I missed the week before I went into the MTC (CCM en Espanol).   Our district is amazing. There are 6 Elderes and 6 Hermanas. I love all of them so much. It's amazing how quickly you can get to know someone when you spend 13 or more hours a day with them. My companera is Hermana Clifton. She is so great! She has been really patient with me, and my little quirks like not liking food, and needing to go to the bath...

This is our first letter from Rin. It cam by snail mail, so if I'm typed spelling errors, sorry. Mama and Daddy,  The first day in the MTC has been AMAZING! I love that we are just go-go-going all the time. We literally have been learning, eating, or going to orientation meetings since you dropped us off. I looked at our shedule for the next six weeks and it is packed! Also, there is an exercise class that is just for sisters every morning! I love my Spanish Class! Our teacher is awesome. He is really easy going and fun and he is so expressive with his face and hands that he is easy to understand even though he only speaks in Spanish. I really think I am going to be able to learn Spanish. So many words are coming back that I can string together to make sentences. You would be so proud of me at dinner. I ate real food! As many of you know, I've been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I report in two days on February 13th, 2013. I'll be serving for 18 months in the California San Fernando mission. While I'm gone I will be writing emails home weekly. When most people think "Debt" they think money. Student debt, credit card debt, mortgage debt, car loan debt, name a type of debt. Luckily I've never had any experience with those types of debt. I believe the best way to avoid something is to know what it looks like and stay away from it. I've been well educated about money debt, and have managed to avoid it so far. However, after recent life experiences I've discovered a new kind of debt; time debt.  Time debt happens when you say things like "I'll do that later," or "That can wait until tomorrow." Every time you do the amount of time it would have taken to do that task is added to your time debt balance because you will have to take that time to do the task later.
