So I realize I haven't posted since school started, but in my defense, I've been busy. I'm taking 17 credits this semester and barely keeping afloat. The day before yesterday I spent at least 9 hours and 45 minutes either in class or doing homework, (yes I subtracted lunch and breaks). Yesterday I was in class for six hours spent an hour working on sewing after class, didn't eat lunch until 3 and then spent three hours on my econ homework due the next day. I sincerely tried to do more homework afterward, but Levinas has a very difficult vocabulary and I just wasn't up to concentrating that hard so I read King Lear instead (admittedly my paper on King Lear is due in just under two weeks!!). Everyone sang happy birthday, and I was glad I got to celebrate with Janette. Then on the morning of the 18th (my BIRTHDAY ) I woke up and left my room, and this is what I found: streamers hanging from the connecting door, balloons all over the living room, streamers on the ceiling, a monkey hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen, and 20 sticky notes that said 20 different things my roommates love about me. : ) I have the BEST roommates ever! Sandra also had a few dollar store presents for me, and the best o...
